Married to Nadine, we have two children, Wendy and Martin. I played football from 1969-1984 for two leagues in the Wolverhampton area. In 1985 we moved to Wednesfield to be near family and began attending Wednesfield Methodist Church, where I eventually became Senior Steward, until 2017 when sadly the church closed. We became members shortly afterwards at Trinity where I have been a steward for nearly two years. A year ago we moved to a bungalow in Wednesfield, where I have taken up gardening!

His other interests include being the Chair of the Board of the Bible Society, and is a trustee of Methodist Central Hall, Westminster.  Alan enjoys gardening, travel and people!

Rob is a Chartered Accountant who has been involved with Church Finance for 40 years, both as a Circuit Treasurer for two different Circuits at different times, and also as a Church Treasurer. In any spare time he has, Rob is an avid follower of cricket and football and loves to travel, especially to be with his daughter in Seattle.

Although a fairly new resident of Codsall, I have been a friend of the church for a long time. My wife Jane lived and worshipped here before we married and as a visiting Local Preacher, I’ve led worship at the 9:30 service for some years. In addition to preaching, I have a strong passion for bible study and teaching.

I am retired, love all things to do with technology and have a particular weakness for guitars. I have a grown-up daughter who lives in Worcester.

I am the oldest of 7 children and come from a longstanding Methodist family, going back many generations. I met my wife, Helen, through my twin brother, and moved to Codsall when we married. I love singing from choir chorale, through traditional hymns to contemporary songs.
In my time at Trinity I have been a steward, and am involved in the worship ministry. I have recently been appointed Treasurer to Brewood and Coven Methodist Churches.

My earliest memory of Jesus is being taught in a tiny Methodist chapel in Littleborough when I was around 8 or 9 years old.
When we moved to Fleetwood, I continued to attend the local Methodist Church where I became a choir member and Sunday School teacher. After leaving university I married Sue and lived in London with little church contact. Since moving to Wolverhampton, I have taught in Sunday School, am a choir member and leader of One Voice (worship group), a member of the Property Group and, most recently, qualifying as a Worship Leader.
Christ is central to my life, and I continue to learn more of the ways of Jesus.
