What to expect at Trinity
|
We’d love you to join with us and experience what Trinity is all about. We fully understand that it might be a little daunting for those who may have never attended a church service before or are unfamiliar with our styles of worship. To make it easier, this page gives you some idea of what to expect.
Some Preliminary Information
When you enter the church building, someone will greet you at the door and give you a copy of the weekly notices.
Please feel free to sit anywhere you like. If you are not sure what to do, just follow everyone else or ask someone nearby who will be pleased to help.
A hymn book and service book will be found on the back of the chair in front of you, and the preacher will make it clear which book is being used. Many of our hymns/songs are projected onto a large screen at the front of the church.
Induction Loop
If you use a hearing aid, then we have an induction loop to help you hear properly. Simply switch your hearing aid to the 'T' position.
Dress
It is never easy to know how to dress when visiting somewhere new. So, let's talk about dress. It ranges from very casual to business casual. Jeans and ties are equally welcomed. So wear whatever you are comfortable in! We’re just glad to have you join us!
Anyone for tea or coffee?
Each Sunday, at 10.30 a.m., between our two morning worship meetings, and at 12.00 noon after the 11.00 a.m. worship time, we have an informal get together, when you can meet new friends or chat with long-term acquaintances over tea or coffee.
Worship
Offering
The message (sermon) What's available for my Children and Young People? We know that as a parent you need to be sure that your children and young people are in a SAFE learning environment. And we know that they are looking for a FUN place to learn. We’ve invested to make sure that both of these goals are reached.
